Provincial Services in Pugwash
The Province of Nova Scotia is the principal funding partner of the following services available in the Village of Pugwash:
- North Cumberland Health Care Centre (260 Gulf Shore Road, Pugwash, NS) — this new facility replaces the former North Cumberland Memorial Hospital.
- East Cumberland Lodge — a long-term care home in the Pugwash area.
- Emergency Health Services (NS) — provincial emergency health services.
- Education: Cyrus Eaton Elementary School and Pugwash and District High School
- Department of Public Works — 24-hour dispatch number: 902-447-2550 (please verify locally for any updates)
- Additional infrastructure and community services funded via provincial partnerships.
