Sue Duncan is an active community leader, volunteer, and public servant in Pugwash, Nova Scotia, widely recognized for her dedication to civic engagement, accessibility, wellness initiatives, and local governance.

Sue and her husband retired to Pugwash about 9 years ago from Ottawa. It took a little while to adjust to village life after living in cities all our lives, but we have found a wonderful home here and love the area, community and people here in Cumberland County. One thing we have always believed is that you become a productive part of the community in which you live. I have tried over the years to help out where it is needed and give a little back to the village that welcomed us when we arrived.  It has been so enjoyable working with the women of the Women's Institute, our fellow Legion members and trying to grow our community by being part of our Village Commission.
